This bill authorizes the town of Maynard to grant an additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be consumed off the premises. The license will be granted to Art's Specialties located at 25 Nason Street in Maynard, Massachusetts. The licensing authority cannot approve the transfer of the license to any other location, but it can grant the license to a new applicant at the same location if certain requirements are met. If the license is terminated, not renewed, or is no longer in use, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then grant the license to a new applicant at the same location. The bill also requires the licensee to return its existing license for the sale of wine and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises upon the issuance of the new license.
