This bill prohibits food delivery platforms from listing a food place on their application or website without first entering into a written agreement with that food place authorizing the platform to take orders and deliver food from that establishment. The bill requires food delivery platforms to immediately remove a food place from their platform if the food place provides a written request to be removed, and imposes a $500 per day fine on platforms that fail to remove a food place within 5 business days of receiving such a request.
