This bill establishes a sick leave bank for Alexis Orloff, an employee of the Worcester County Sheriff's Office. The bill allows other employees of the Worcester County Sheriff's Office to voluntarily contribute one or more sick, personal, or vacation days to the sick leave bank for Orloff's use. The sick leave bank days can only be used for absences related to the illness or disability that necessitated the establishment of the bank, as determined by the Sheriff's Office. When Orloff terminates employment or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any remaining time in the bank will be transferred to the extended illness leave bank.
