This bill amends the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission to establish a lower fee or waive the fee for fishing licenses for certain residents, including those who are 65 years old or older but younger than 85 years old, those who are 85 years old or over, and those who have a disability and are under 17 years old. The bill also specifies that the changes apply only to fishing licenses issued on or after the effective date of the act, which is September 1, 2021.
