This bill authorizes the Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to lease a 4.1784-acre parcel of land on the Mount Wachusett Community College campus in Gardner, Massachusetts to Heywood Healthcare Inc. for up to 50 years. The lease must be used solely for additional parking at the Heywood Healthcare Gardner campus, and if the parcel is no longer used for that purpose, the lease will terminate, and the land will revert to the Commonwealth. The lessee is responsible for all costs related to the transaction, development, improvement, maintenance, and operation of the parcel, as well as carrying comprehensive general liability insurance with the Commonwealth named as an additional insured.
