This bill authorizes the Massachusetts Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, in consultation with the Department of Conservation and Recreation, to convey a 10,000 square foot portion of the Nickerson State Park in the town of Brewster to the town for public way and sidewalk purposes. To ensure no net loss of land for conservation and recreation, the town must pay $2,000 to the Department of Conservation and Recreation's Conservation Trust, which the department can use to acquire additional protected land. The town is also responsible for all costs associated with the conveyance, including surveys, recording fees, and deed preparation.
