This bill amends the Environmental Conservation Law to prohibit the nonemergency application of pesticides or lawn care pesticides within any municipal park lands and lands under the jurisdiction of the State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. It also requires the Office to provide public notice at least 72 hours prior to any pesticide application. The bill defines "pesticide" and "lawn care pesticide" and authorizes the Department of Environmental Conservation to promulgate rules and regulations to implement these provisions.
