This bill requires the commissioner of the Office of General Services to compile, make public, and keep current certain information about state boards. This includes maintaining a public record of the membership and meeting information of all active state boards, as well as a compilation of available information on inactive state boards. The commissioner must update the information annually, including on vacancies, expired terms, and the process for filling such vacancies. Each state board or its affiliated agency must submit the required information to the commissioner annually. The commissioner must also report to the governor and legislative leaders on the status of the inventory, including demographic information on appointees and any impediments to obtaining the required information.
