It makes various changes related to the liquidation, rehabilitation, and conservation of insolvent insurers, including provisions to protect the rights of federal home loan banks with respect to collateral pledged by the insolvent insurer. 8. It makes changes to the regulation of service contracts, including disclosure requirements and restrictions on when service contracts can be canceled. 9. It clarifies the notice requirements for non-renewal of insurance policies.
