This bill revises laws related to the collection of union dues. The bill also amends existing laws to remove provisions that allowed public employers to deduct union dues from employee paychecks and provisions that required non-union members to pay an amount equal to union dues. Additionally, the bill repeals a section that allowed public employees to opt out of union membership on religious grounds.
