This bill expresses the intent of the California Legislature to enact statutory changes relating to the Budget Act of 2022. The Budget Act of 2021 previously made appropriations for the support of state government for the 2021-22 fiscal year, but this bill would amend that Act by making changes to items of appropriation and other revisions. The bill also declares that it will take effect immediately as a budget bill.
