AI Summary

This bill, titled the "Save Women's Sports Act", amends existing laws to require schools that participate in interscholastic athletics to designate all athletic teams, activities, and sports based on the biological sex of the students eligible to participate. It prohibits male students from participating in athletic teams, activities, and sports designated as "girls'" and creates a private cause of action for students who are deprived of athletic opportunities or suffer harm as a result of a violation of these provisions. The bill also applies similar requirements to public and private postsecondary institutions that are members of a national intercollegiate athletic association, and provides a private cause of action for students harmed by violations.
