It also authorizes the Georgia Board of Nursing to require the collection of certain workforce data when issuing and renewing licenses. The bill aims to make it easier for military spouses and other individuals who move to Georgia to continue their professions by recognizing licenses from other states, as long as the training and experience requirements are substantially similar. It also clarifies that the state's licensing compacts and verification requirements under existing law still apply.
