This bill: - Allows a minor political party to nominate a person who is already a certified candidate for a major political party for the same office to also be the minor party's nominee on the general election ballot. - Permits a candidate's name to appear more than once on the general election ballot if the candidate is the nominee for a major political party and one or more minor political parties. - Requires the votes cast for a candidate nominated by both a major and minor political party to be tallied separately by party and then combined for the final tally. - Amends various sections of New Mexico's election laws related to candidate nominations, party affiliations, and ballot procedures.
