This Concurrent Resolution formally recognizes and commends Mr. Barabbas Leasy for his extensive and impactful contributions to education over many years. The resolution highlights his dedication to academic excellence, evidenced by his numerous degrees and ongoing pursuit of a Ph.D. in educational administration, as well as his significant roles at Shannon High School, including teaching, serving as an assistant principal, and leading various school initiatives and programs. It also acknowledges his community engagement efforts, such as coordinating student service projects, literacy support, and scholarship opportunities, and his prior military service in the Mississippi National Guard. The resolution, a formal expression of appreciation from the Mississippi Legislature, will be shared with Mr. Leasy and the Capitol Press Corps.
