This bill requires sugar-sweetened beverages to be labeled with a safety warning. The bill defines key terms such as "sugar-sweetened beverage," "beverage container," and "concentrate." It mandates that sealed sugar-sweetened beverage containers, multipacks of such beverages, and concentrates used to make them must display a warning that "Drinking beverages with added sugar contributes to obesity, diabetes and tooth decay."
