This bill requires real estate brokers and salespeople to compile and disclose client demographic data, including the client's name, race, ethnicity, and gender, to the Secretary of State. Brokers and salespeople must also record and retain this information for two years, as well as details on the properties shown, offers received, and transaction outcomes for each client. The Secretary of State will establish a database to store this information and provide annual reports on the aggregate data to the state government. The client's provision of demographic information is voluntary and will not affect the services provided.
