AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to health care proxy information on driver's licenses
AI Summary
This bill amends the New York Vehicle and Traffic Law to provide space on a driver's license for a person to list their health care agent's name and contact information. This allows individuals who have completed a health care proxy form to have that information readily available on their driver's license. The bill does not change the fees for issuing or renewing licenses for individuals under 21 years old or those making an anatomical gift.
