This bill amends the Public Officers Law to provide press access to open meetings of an agency or authority, except for executive sessions. It also requires notice of such meetings to be provided to both the news media and local governments, and increases the minimum notice period from 72 hours to 96 hours or 4 business days, whichever is greater. Additionally, the bill requires a draft agenda for any public meeting to be posted on the agency's website at least 24 hours before the meeting.
