The proposed curriculum would cover a broad range of topics, from ancient African civilizations and the pre-colonial history of people of African descent to the experiences of Native Americans, the impact of European colonization, and the significant achievements and cultural influence of African Americans throughout American history up to the present day, encompassing areas like inventions, entertainment, sports, politics, and more. The resolution also directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to formally deliver a copy of this resolution to the Georgia Department of Education.
