AI Summary
This bill, the "Ethics in Government Act of 2022," amends Georgia's ethics laws in several ways. It renames the "Ethics in Government Act" to the "Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Act," revises definitions, and makes changes to the powers and duties of the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission. It also revises procedures for initiating complaints, restricts political action committees affiliated with state legislators or statewide elected officials from seeking or accepting contributions during legislative sessions, and increases requirements for financial disclosure and record-keeping by candidates and public officials.
