This bill amends sections of the California Government Code to prescribe a process for state and local government employees to designate a person or persons to receive their pay warrants upon their death. The bill allows employees to designate a primary and up to three contingent persons, and requires the appointing power to issue a revolving fund check directly to the designated person instead of delivering the original warrants. The bill also defines "person" to include corporations, trusts, and estates for the purposes of these provisions.
