This bill amends the Alcoholic Beverage Code to allow the holder of a mixed beverage permit to deliver or have delivered, by a third party, alcoholic beverages (including sealed malt beverages, wine, and certain sealed or tamper-proof containers of other alcoholic beverages) to an ultimate consumer located off-premises, as long as the sale of the beverage is legal in the area and certain other requirements are met. The bill also allows the permit holder to allow the ultimate consumer to pick up and remove the alcoholic beverage from the permitted premises. The bill includes provisions related to the age and identification of the person receiving the alcoholic beverage, as well as restrictions on transporting certain types of alcoholic beverages in the passenger area of a motor vehicle.
