AI Summary

This bill, the Medicaid Waiver Wage Fairness and Workforce Act, requires provider agencies that offer services through Medicaid waiver programs for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to use at least 70% of any increase in reimbursement rates to increase compensation for their direct support professionals. The bill also requires these provider agencies to maintain records on how they use the increased funding and to report data on their direct support professional workforce, including employment stability and compensation. If a provider agency fails to use the required portion of the rate increase for staff compensation or to properly report the information, the Department of Health may recoup some or all of the reimbursement rate increase.
