This bill appropriates $200,000 from the general fund to the Board of Regents of Eastern New Mexico University to manage and conduct a digital learning platform for New Mexico teachers and students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The platform will allow them to learn, practice, and apply coding strategies with simulated robots in activities and missions designed for international competitions. The funding will also provide online courses to prepare teachers to use differentiated curricula with students so they can participate competitively in international robotic events. Any unused or uncommitted funds remaining at the end of the 2022 fiscal year will revert to the general fund.
