This bill makes several changes to state government agencies and programs: It amends the Civil Administrative Code to require that the Director of Aging be a senior citizen or have experience providing services to senior citizens. It also changes the requirements for the membership of the Illinois Act on the Aging Council, including requiring that at least 16 members be senior citizens or have experience providing services to senior citizens, and that the Council include members representing certain underrepresented communities. The bill amends the Department of Central Management Services Law to make Sangamon County the preferred location for state employment positions not required to be in a specific geographic area, and gives the Director of Central Management Services more discretion in determining the geographic location of state employment positions. It makes changes to the Carolyn Adams Ticket For The Cure Board, the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, the Blue-Ribbon Commission on Transportation Infrastructure and Policy, the Renewable Energy Component Recycling Task Force, and the Illinois Indian American Advisory Council Act. The bill also includes provisions related to the Illinois Gaming Board, the Firearm Owner's Identification Card Review Board, the Concealed Carry Licensing Review Board, and the Illinois Human Rights Commission.
