This bill, the Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act, directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish a pilot program to provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to veterans who have a traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder. The pilot program will operate in three selected Veterans Integrated Service Networks and be funded by donations to the VA HBOT Fund, which will terminate five years after the bill's enactment. HBOT is defined as therapy using a medical device approved by or issued an investigational device exemption from the Food and Drug Administration.
