This bill makes technical, non-substantive changes to existing law regarding the Veterans' Home Fund. The bill amends the Military and Veterans Code to update the names of two veterans' homes in California - the Veterans' Home of California, Lancaster and the Veterans' Home of California, Ventura. Additionally, the bill clarifies that a single veterans' home, rather than multiple homes, may care for veterans with substance abuse disorders. The bill also continuously appropriates federal matching funds to the Department of Veterans Affairs for the purpose of designing, equipping, constructing, renovating, or expanding these veterans' homes.
