This bill, the "Eliminate Network Distribution of Child Exploitation Act" or the "END Child Exploitation Act", amends the existing law to require providers of reports to the CyberTipline (a system for reporting online sexual exploitation of children) to preserve the contents of such reports for 180 days, instead of the previous 90-day requirement. The bill also allows providers to voluntarily preserve the contents for longer than 180 days in order to reduce the proliferation of online child sexual exploitation and prevent future incidents. Additionally, the bill mandates that providers preserve the materials in a manner consistent with the latest version of the Cybersecurity Framework developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, or a successor resource, within one year of the bill's enactment.
