This bill, the Secure Rural Schools Reauthorization Act of 2021, extends the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000. It does the following: 1. Extends secure payments to states and counties containing federal land through fiscal year 2023. 2. Establishes a regional pilot program and a national pilot program to streamline the process for appointing members to resource advisory committees. 3. Extends the authority to conduct special projects on federal land through 2025. 4. Allows county funds obligated before 2017 but unspent as of 2020 to be used for authorized purposes, and prohibits the use of county funds for lobbying activities. 5. Allows the use of funds to provide or expand access to broadband and other technology for local schools.
