This bill establishes the "Campus Intellectual Diversity Act" to create offices of public policy events at each public institution of higher education in Missouri. These offices will organize debates, group forums, and individual lectures that present diverse and opposing perspectives on widely discussed public policy issues. The offices will invite speakers from within and outside the campus community to participate, and will maintain a public calendar and video record of the events. The coordinating board for higher education will be responsible for establishing, funding, and staffing these offices, which will report to either the institution's office responsible for reporting graduation rates or the office of general counsel.
