This bill amends the Texas Election Code to expand the list of acceptable forms of photo identification for voting. Specifically, it adds a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card issued by the Transportation Security Administration as an acceptable form of ID, as long as it has not expired or expired no earlier than four years before the date of presentation. The bill takes effect on September 1, 2021.
