These reports, to be issued every Thursday starting May 5, 2022, and continuing until the tanks are fully decommissioned, are intended to ensure transparency and accountability following a significant fuel leak in November 2021 that contaminated the local water supply and displaced thousands. The information from these weekly updates will be shared with various state and local government officials, including the Governor, the Department of Health, and the Board of Water Supply, to keep them informed about the critical defueling and decommissioning process.
