This program's goal is to inform victims of domestic violence about the help that is available to them, including placing informational posters and signs in discreet locations and in multiple languages, recognizing that domestic violence disproportionately affects certain communities, including Filipino and Pacific Islander populations in Hawaii, and that the pandemic has exacerbated these issues. The resolution also requests a report on the program's progress and any proposed legislative changes to be submitted to the state legislature.
