This Concurrent Resolution requests the Department of Customer Services of the City and County of Honolulu to address two key issues: first, to ensure its Driver Licensing Centers are fully staffed to better serve residents needing services like obtaining a driver's license, which is essential for employment and daily life, especially in rural areas; and second, to speed up the process for individuals experiencing homelessness to get a state identification card or driver's license, provided they can get verification from a recognized homeless service provider, as lacking identification is a significant barrier to housing and employment for this population.
