This Resolution requests the Department of Education to establish a student-led working group to actively include diverse identities within and beyond sexual health education, promote culturally responsive ideas about mutual respect in relationships, and identify opportunities to integrate these identities into sexual health curricula, all guided by the principle of "aloha kekahi i kekahi," which means to love, honor, and respect each other with mutual kindness and dignity. The working group will include student advocates from various organizations, cultural experts, sexual health education specialists, and teachers, and is tasked with submitting recommendations for teacher training, student curriculum, and other necessary materials to ensure that the concept of "aloha kekahi i kekahi" is fully realized and shared with students, particularly concerning diverse sexual identities and gender expressions.
