This bill establishes the "Sickle Cell Treatment Act" in New York, which designates five general hospitals or hospices as "centers for sickle cell care excellence" to provide specialized sickle cell disease care, treatment, and research. It also designates ten hospitals as "sickle cell outpatient treatment centers" to provide outpatient treatment for sickle cell patients.
