Daylight Savings Time, adopted statewide if Congress amends Federal law to allow

This bill proposes that if the U.S. Congress amends federal law to allow states to observe Daylight Saving Time (DST) year-round, the state of Alabama will adopt DST as the year-round standard of time for the entire state and all of its political subdivisions. The bill would become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the governor or it otherwise becoming law.
