This bill aims to establish a license plate replacement program in Massachusetts. The key provisions of the bill are: 1. All fees collected for replacement registration plates introduced after 2014 will be deposited into a retained revenue account to be used by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles to help cover the costs of the plate production program, without further appropriation. 2. The fees collected for the replacement plates will be deposited into a retained revenue fund to be used by the Registrar to help cover the costs of the plate production program.
