This bill, the Access to White House Visitor Logs Act, requires the President to establish and update a publicly available database containing information on visitors to the White House, the Vice President's residence, and other locations where the President or Vice President regularly conduct official business. The database would include the names of visitors, the individuals they met with, and the purpose of their visit. However, the President can withhold certain records that implicate personal privacy, law enforcement concerns, national security, or relate to purely personal guests. For particularly sensitive meetings, the President must include the number of visitors but can delay posting the applicable records until the sensitive period has passed.
