Bill Summary
AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to the requirements for filing a complaint with the Division of Human Rights
AI Summary
This bill amends the New York Executive Law to change the requirements for filing a complaint with the Division of Human Rights. The bill also updates the title of the official who can file a complaint on their own motion, changing it from the "chair of the commission on quality of care for the mentally disabled" to the "executive director of the justice center for the protection of people with special needs."
