This bill amends the Highway Law to designate a portion of the state highway system in the town of Ellenburg, Clinton County as the "Samuel Trombley Memorial Bridge". Specifically, the bridge at the intersection of State Route 11 and State Route 190, designated as Bridge Number 1039640 971LX, which crosses over the North Branch of the Great Chazy River, shall be known as the "Samuel Trombley Memorial Bridge". The Commissioner of Transportation is required to provide for the installation and maintenance of adequate signage, but the official name of the bridge will not be changed, and the designation is of a ceremonial nature to avoid confusion and disruption of commerce.
