This bill amends the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 to allow the Director of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to determine if a proposed measure would result in reductions in budget outlays in future years through the use of preventive health and preventive health services. If the Director makes such a determination, the bill requires the Director to include a description and estimate of the reductions in the budget projections, and allows the Director to prepare budget projections beyond the standard time periods. The bill defines "preventive health" as actions that protect, promote, and maintain health and wellness and prevent disease, disability, and premature death, as demonstrated by credible evidence.
