This bill amends the Tax Law to allocate certain tax revenues from hotel or motel stays in Seneca County, New York, for the promotion of tourism and tourist attractions in the county. The bill expands the permitted uses of these tax revenues to include programs to improve public infrastructure, develop and maintain public parks and recreational facilities, maintain and enhance the county's water resources, and support environmental conservation efforts, in addition to traditional tourism promotion activities. The bill also limits the amount of revenue that can be used for administrative costs within the Seneca County Treasurer's office to no more than 5 percent.
