This bill requires each principal department in the Executive Branch of the State government and each State college (defined as any college or university established under New Jersey law) to conduct an internal review of their cybersecurity infrastructure. The review must evaluate the efficiency and security of the current cyber infrastructure, identify any high-risk cybersecurity issues, offer strategies to improve and modernize the cybersecurity infrastructure, and provide any proposed changes to cybersecurity-related laws, regulations, or policies. The heads of the departments and colleges must report their findings and recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature within 45 days of the bill's effective date.
