This bill authorizes the town of Norwood to grant an additional liquor license for the sale of wines and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises. The license is granted to Ro-Jo Company, Inc. d/b/a Cravings On The Go located at 69 Boston Providence Turnpike, and is subject to all the provisions of Chapter 138 of the General Laws except for the limitation on the number of licenses. The licensing authority cannot approve the transfer of the license to another location, but can grant it to a new applicant at the same location if certain requirements are met. The bill also specifies that the license must be issued within one year of the bill's effective date, and that licenses that are terminated, not renewed, or no longer in use can be granted to a new applicant at the same location.
