This bill establishes a grant program within the Department of the Interior to provide competitive grants to eligible entities, such as states, tribes, and water districts, for the planning, design, and construction of large-scale water recycling and reclamation projects. These projects must reclaim and reuse municipal, industrial, domestic, or agricultural wastewater, or impaired ground or surface waters, have a total estimated cost of $500 million or greater, and be located within a Reclamation State. The bill sets guidelines for project evaluation and prioritization, with a focus on projects that provide multiple benefits, reduce impacts on environmental resources, and are collaboratively developed.
