This bill, the Military PFAS Testing Disclosure Act, requires the Secretary of Defense to publicly disclose the results of all testing for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) conducted on or around military installations, formerly used defense sites, and National Guard facilities in the United States. The disclosure must be made on a publicly available website or in the Federal Register, and include any underlying datasets or additional information of interest to the public. Additionally, the Secretary must provide written notice to local water authorities and municipal governments prior to conducting any PFAS testing. The bill defines key terms such as "formerly used defense site" and "PFAS," and requires the Secretary to test for any PFAS substance for which the EPA has validated a drinking water measurement method.
