This bill amends the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to provide the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) with the responsibility of maintaining capabilities to identify and address threats and vulnerabilities to industrial control systems, including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. The bill requires CISA to lead federal efforts to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats to industrial control systems, maintain threat hunting and incident response capabilities, provide technical assistance to industry stakeholders, and coordinate the sharing of vulnerability information. The bill also mandates periodic reports to Congress on CISA's industrial control systems capabilities and a Government Accountability Office review of the implementation of these new requirements.
