This bill amends the Environmental Conservation Law to provide free hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses to members of the Seneca Nation who reside in the state of New York, in addition to the existing provisions for members of the Six Nations and other tribes residing on reservations in the state. The bill also expands the eligibility for free licenses to include members of the Seneca Nation residing within the state, in addition to the existing provisions for members of the Shinnecock and Poospatuck tribes, as well as active members of the U.S. armed forces and the New York organized militia, and residents who are blind or over the age of 70.
